RALLS (Special) - Graveside services for Billye Meadows Eason, 72, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Kerry Hurst, pastor of Childress First United Methodist Church, officiating.Burial is under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died Monday, May 22, 1995, in a Birmingham, Ala., hospital.
She was born July 21, 1922, in Crosbyton. She married Percy Eason on May 14, 1939, in Lubbock. He died Feb. 3, 1984. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jordan Eason.
She worked for the Army during World War II at the Camp Stoneman, Calif., port of embarkation. She was also an assistant cashier at Security State Bank & Trust from 1968 until retiring in 1984.
Survivors include a son, Marc of Birmingham; a daughter, Melissa Beavers of Lubbock; and six grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial donations to Ralls Library, Ralls EMS or Ralls Boy Scouts.
