Graveside services for Blanche Duff, 79, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. today in the Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Herb Tavenner, pastor of Asbury United Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be under the direction of Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home.

She died at noon Wednesday in Methodist Hospital after a sudden illness.

She was born in Hillsboro. She married J.C. Duff, Jr. Nov. 24, 1926, in Ralls. He died in 1969. She owned Duff Group Day Care Center in Lubbock. She had been a resident of Lubbock since 1953, moving from Ralls. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and the Ralls First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, John Clark of Lubbock; a brother, H.B. Byerley of Petersburg; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
