Funeral services for Boe Diggs, 72, of Ralls will be held at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday at Ralls First Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Lee Fuller, pastor, and Rev. Larry Stallings, of Elgin Baptist Church in Lubbock.

Diggs died at 3:00 a.m. May 22 in Crosybton Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born May 16, 1911 in Globe, Texas, he married Almeda Adams Sept. 11, 1934 in Ralls. He had been a resident of Ralls since 1942, moving from Cone.

He had been employed at Crosby County Fuel Association for several years as a salesman. He was a member of Ralls First Baptist Church, Emma Masonic Lodge #931, and former member of Ralls Lions Club.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, Jerry Don of LaGrange, Gerald of Tipton, Mo.; two sisters, Ruby Haley of Hartsell, Ala., and Bobbie Gaston of Ft. Stockton, and five grandchildren.

Interment will be in Ralls Cemetery under directions of Carter-Adams Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Bill Lyle, Buzz Cooper, Jim Boydstun, Bob Kimbrough, Bob Wideman, and Cleve Cypert.
