RALLS (Special) - Services for Ollie "Momie" DeFreese, 84, of Floydada will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Emma Church of Christ with Houston Green, a minister from Colorado, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Mrs. DeFreese died Thursday morning in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Lamar County and married Gerlan Ralph DeFreese on Nov. 28, 1925, in Lamar County. He died on June 6, 1976. She moved to Floydada in 1988 from Ralls. She was a homemaker and a member of the senior citizens group and the Church of Christ. Two daughters, Billie Couch and Esteele Thomasson, died in 1984 and 1986, respectively.

Survivors include a son, Charles of Telephone; a daughter, Wanda Russell of Floydada; a brother, Arias Welch of Bonham; two sisters, Lorene Raper of Mineola and Ethel Pruett of Springfield, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
