Services for Dorothy Mae Stanley Davis, 74, of Lubbock were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2001, at the Lorenzo First Baptist Church in Lorenzo with the Rev. Floyd Haddock officiating.Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
She died Thursday, July 19, 2001, at Heritage Oaks Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 14, 1926, in Giddings, TX. She married Ira B. Stanley on Nov. 1, 1942, in Jones County. He died Sept. 28, 1975. In 1979 she married Irby Davis in Lubbock, he also preceded her in death in 1998.
She was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Lubbock and worked as an insurance agent. She was a longtime resident of Crosby County and moved to Lubbock in 1974.
Survivors include two sons, Bob and Bill Stanley, both of Lubbock; a daughter, Pat Stanley of Lubbock; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
