RALLS (Special) - Services for Josie Jane Danner, 82, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. today in the Emma Church of Christ in Ralls with Roy Shave, minister, officiating, assisted by Ralph Moore, minister of the Lorenzo Church of Christ.
Burial will be in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.
Mrs. Danner died at 12:40 p.m. Monday [3/9/1981] at her daughter´s residence in Idalou following a lengthy illness. A resident of Ralls since 1922, she was born in Exray on Aug. 16, 1898. She married Robert Buford Danner in Stephenville on Oct. 30, 1921.
She was a member of the Lorenzo Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Derral of Oak Grove, La; two daughters, Lavene Cornelius of Ralls and Ita Mae (Shorty) Skirlock of Idalou; four brothers, Clarence Dawdy of El Paso, Johnny H. Dawdy of Idalou, Lewis Dawdy of Siloam Springs, AR., and Alpha Dawdy of Los Angeles, CA; six sisters, Mrs. J.D. Perkins of Dublin, Mrs. L.M, Brunson of Idalou, Mrs. Albert McInroe of Dallas, Mrs. O.A. Clark of Mirardy, NM and Mrs. Virgie Lawrence and Mrs. Ina Vickers, both of Idalou; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Robert Buford Danner, 81, of Ralls were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Emma Church of Christ here with Roy Shave, minister, officiating.
Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
Danner died at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday in Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.
A native of Liberty, Danner married Josie Jane Dawdy Oct. 30, 1921, in Stephenville. They moved to the South Plains in 1924 and to Ralls in 1929. She died in 1981. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include two daughters, Laverne Cornelius of Ralls and Ita Mae Skirlock of Lubbock; a son, Derral of Oak Grove, LA; six sisters, Parlee Mauldin and Elma Lowe, both of Stephenville, Merle Chestnut of Lubbock, Jessie Matthews of Hereford, Opal Morris of Gruver, and Clara Harris of Borger; two brothers, Ross of Stephenville and Leon of Fort Worth; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
