Cecil Daniel, 63, of Ralls, died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at his home of an apparent heart attack.Services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Assembly of God Church in Ralls with the Rev Vance Mitchell, pastor, and the Rev. Floyd Haddock, pastor of Ralls First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.
Daniel had been a Ralls resident since 1950, moving here from Crowell. A native of Carter County Okla., he married Edna Killough in Jefferson County, Okla. Oct. 20, 1935. He was a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife; six sons, Euel of Ralls, Floyd R. of Lorenzo, Gary of Andrews, Preston and Lynn, both of Lubock, and Delton of Crosbyton; four daughters, Mrs. Virginia Washington and Mrs. Della Hobbs, both of Lubbock, Mrs. Ada Little of Tulia and Mrs. Norma Jolly of Ralls; three brothers, John of Sunray, Roy of Ruscott, and Earl of Levelland; three sisters, Mrs. Earl Stermer of Paducah, Mrs. R.L. Doyle of Tulia, and Mrs. Otto Wade of Byers; ad 26 grandchildren.
