Graveside Rites Held Here For Marvin Cypert

U.S.Flag   Graveside services for Marvin Cypert, 83, of Lorenzo will be at 10 A.M. Friday, April 27, 2001 at Ralls Cemetery with Rev. Gary Boles officiating.

Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.

He died Tuesday, April 24, 2001 at Lynnwood Manor Nursing Home.

He was born July 2, 1917 in Quail, Texas.

He married Vivian Lynette House on July 5, 1946 in Clovis, N.M. She died on February 7, 1993.

He attended school in Quail, Old Emma and graduated from Lorenzo High School in 1938. He also attended Texas Tech.

He was a member of the Lorenzo First Baptist Church, the Emma Masonic Lodge #931 in Ralls, Texas, where he held the titles of Master Mason in 1949 and Worshipful Master in 1954. He served in the Army Air Corps for 6 years from 1939 to 1945, he farmed in the Lorenzo area until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by a son, Roger Cypert on March 11, 1997.

Survivors include 1 son: Randy Cypert of Tyler; 2 daughters: Rhonda Klein of Lubbock and Roxie Powers of Pampa; a sister, Neva Abell of Ralls, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Data Bank of Alzheimer´s Research
