Funeral services for Vance Cypert, 67, were held Thursday, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Ralls, with the Rev. Floyd Haddock, pastor of First Baptist Church of Seagraves, and the Rev. Winfred Mack, pastor of Abundant Life Church of Lubbock, officiating.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under directions of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Cypert, a native of Turnersville, died about 10:00 p.m. Tuesday in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He came to Ralls in 1931 and married Annie Myers May 31, 1934, in Ralls. The retired farmer was a past president of the Ralls Cemetery Association and had served on the Ralls Chamber of Commerce and the Ralls Independent School District boards. He was a Baptist, a Mason and a member of Scottish Rite and the Ralls Rotary Club.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Cleve of Ralls and Tony of Alief; two brothers, Harl and Marvin both of Lorenzo; a sister, Mrs. Earl C. (Neva) Abell of Ralls; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

CONE (Special)— Services for Annie Cypert, 84, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. today at Liberty Rock Church with the Rev. Floyd Haddock officiating and the Rev. Troy Lesley assisting.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Ralls.

She died Friday, May 26, 2000, at Crosbyton Hospital.

She was born March 26, 1916, in Bloom. She married Vance Cypert on May 31, 1934, in Ralls. He died Sept. 7, 1982. She was a member of the Liberty Rock Church. She moved to Ralls in 1930. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Cleve of Ralls and Tony of Rosenberg; a brother, Cleo Myers; a sister, Onnie Moore of Mineral Wells; three grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
