U.S.Flag   RALLS (Special) — Services for Johnny Lee Curbo, 53, of Idalou will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Ralls First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ron Colwell, pastor, and the Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor of Ralls First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Curbo died Saturday, Nov. 22, 1997, in Northwest Texas Medical Center in Amarillo.

He was born Feb. 15, 1944, in Gainesville. He married Sue Ledbetter on Feb. 5, 1972, in Lorenzo. He was a member of Lorenzo First Baptist Church. He attended Lorenzo schools, and he was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. He moved to Idalou from Lubbock in 1983.

He owned Big G Discount Tire Store in Lubbock, and he had worked for Eagle-Picher Industries for 20 years.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Cody Don of Idalou; his mother, Johnnie Powell of Lorenzo; two brothers, Donnie Powell and Ronnie Powell, both of Lorenzo; and four sisters, Lavelle Lewis of Azle, June Przybylski of Wolfforth, Sandra Nelson of Ralls and Joyce Whittle of Amarillo.
