Epifanio P. Cuellar, Sr., 74, of Ralls passed away Monday, October 8, 2012, at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 12, 2012, at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Ralls, with Father Samuel Oracion officiating. Burial will follow at Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home-Ralls.Rosary will be held at the same church 7 P.M., Thursday, October 11th.
Epifanio was born on April 14, 1938, in Green TX, to the late Manuel and Julia (Encenia) Cuellar, Sr. He married Jesusa Salas on August 21, 1954 in Kennedy, TX; Epifanio loved gardening, and worked for a total of 50 years at Roscoe, Cone, C&R, Weinert Paymaster and Ocilla gin in Georgia. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many.
Preceded in death by three daughters, twins Mary Louisa, Mary Elena and Lupe Cuellar.
Survivors include his wife, Jesusa (Salas) Cuellar of Stamford, eight children, Maria Elena Saenz of Roscoe, Estella Lira of Haskell, Diana Ann Rivera of Sweetwater, Julia Cuellar of Georgia, Epifanio Cuellar, Jr. of Crosbyton, Andres S. Cuellar of Lorenzo, Maria Ponposa Martinez of Haskell, Vesente "Vince" S. Cuellar of Ralls, 18 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.Serving as Pallbearers will be Rudy Mireles, Trey Lira, Marcial Saenz, Narsiso Vera, Jr., Juan A. Cuellar, Estella Saenz, Ramon Rivera, Jr and Joseph G. Mireles.

Jesusa S. Cuellar, 78, of Stamford formerly of Ralls passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 in Stamford Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Monday, February 4, 2013 at St. Michaels Catholic Church with Father Samuel Oracion officiating. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Rosary will be Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 6 PM at the same church.
Jesusa was born September 12, 1934 in Nell, Live Oak Co., TX to the late Vicente and Juanita (Rodriquez) Salas, Sr. She met and married Epifanio Cuellar in Kenedy, TX on August 22, 1954. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Jesusa loved to cook for her family, sewing, and spending time outside planting flowers. She was actively involved in the Guadalupanas at St. Michaels here in Ralls, and helped raised six of her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, Epifanio Cuellar Sr., three daughters, twins, Mary-Louisa and Mary Elena and Lupita Cuellar, two brothers, Lalito and Ruben Salas.
She is survived by her children, Mary Elena Saenz of Roscoe, Estella Lira of Haskell, Diane Ann Rivera of Sweetwater, Julia Cuellar of Georgia, Epifanio Cuellar Jr. of Crosbyton, Andres Cuellar of Lorenzo, Maria Ponposa Martinez of Haskell and Visente �Vince� Cuellar of Ralls, four brothers, Justo Salas, Julian Salas, Bicente Salas, Juan Salas, two sisters, Gloria Conteras, Elisa Gonzales, 21 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
