Funeral Services were held for Margie Crump of Ralls
Services for Margie Crump, 91, of Ralls were at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 12, 2008 in the Ralls First Baptist Church with Rev. Floyd Haddock, Rev. Larry Carson and Rev. Ken Bevel officiating. Burial followed in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. Margie passed away Thursday, October 9, 2008 at VistaCare Center in Lubbock. She was born July 16, 1917 in Paris, Texas to the late George M. and Lizzie Elizabeth (Vails) James. On July 20, 1935 she married Edmond Crump in Floydada. He passed away on March 20, 2007.
Margie was a member of the Ralls First Baptist Church and a homemaker. She loved being outdoors and quilting. She was a former member of the Prairie Thimble quilting club. Margie and Edmond, were honored as the Ralls Chamber of Commerce Mr. & Mrs. Cotton Boll in 1999. Her family was very special to her.
She is preceded in death by a brother; Dan James in 1993. Survivors include; two daughters; Sandra Roye and her husband Dwight of Ralls, Ruth McMillan of Arlington, two grandsons and their wives; Bart and Tami Roye of Ransom Canyon, Barron and Kandra Roye of Ralls, four great grandchildren; Ashleigh Roye, Lindsi Roye, Brinson Roye and Kensley Roye.
