The Cross Funeral
Mrs. Herod Ann Cross, 85, of Ralls died about midnight Wednesday in the Parkway Manor Nursing Home in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church in Ralls with the Rev. Vernon O´Kelly, pastor, and the Rev. Floyd Haddock, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Ralls, officiating. Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cross was born in Denton County and moved to Ralls in 1950 from Muleshoe.
Survivors include a son, Robert of Morton, three daughters, Mrs. C.F. Mitchell of Fresno, Calif., Mrs. Robert Lynch of Sacramento, Calif., and Mrs. Luther Henderson of Lubbock; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Great-grandsons served as pallbearers.
