William �Bill� Charles Crone 70 of Ralls passed away Monday April 28, 2014.
Bill was born August 29, 1943 in Ralls Texas to Charlie and Vera Herring Crone. He graduated from Ralls High School and entered the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam War. Bill married his wife of 44 years Sue Reese on September 6, 1969 in Ralls Texas. Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman; he loved spending time reloading his shells. Bills grandchildren were his pride and joy. He loved going to their activities and sporting events. Bill loved baseball, coaching and umpiring before he had kids participating.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, two sons Chuck Crone and his wife Lisa of Ralls, Scott Crone and his wife Raquel of Ralls and a sister Nan Williams and her husband Clint of Lubbock. Bill also leaves behind four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, one great- grandchild, three step-great-grandchildren and a host of friends who will dearly miss him.
Services for Bill will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday May 1, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Ralls; burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. A visitation will be held Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home. Family request memorials sent to Plains Baptist Assembly 3001 Love Road Floydada Texas 79235.
