Obituary

• Addie Melissie Moore Creed

Mrs. MeLissie Creed, 80, of Ralls died about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in University Hospital in Lubbock. Services will be at 2 p.m. (today) Thursday in Ralls First Baptist Church.

Officiating will be the Rev Floyd Haddock, pastor of First Baptist Church in Seminole. Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.

Mrs. Creed was a native of Jones County and moved to this area in 1929 from Altus, Okla. She was a Baptist and for 19 years worked as a nurse in Ralls Hospital.

Survivors include a son, Robert H. of Lubbock; a daughter, Mrs. James A. Boydstun of Ralls; four brothers, E.O. Moore of Ralls, Joe Moore of Post, Shirley Moore of Roswell, N.M., and Richard Moore of Farmington, N.M.; a sister, Mrs. Johnny Myers of Abilene; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
