Buried in Ralls
Funeral services were held here last Friday afternoon for Roy Cox, age 35, who passed away Thursday morning at St. Mary's hospital in Lubbock after an illness of two weeks.The deceased is a former resident of the League Four community but for the past six years has made his home in Lubbock and Whiteface where he was employed as bookkeeper at the Beck Gin during the ginning season and at the Snyder Ranch during the summer months.
He is survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. N.O.Cox of Whiteface, and three brothers, Herman of Kilgore, Joe of Lubbock, and Woodrow of San Antonio; and three sisters, Mrs. Hoyt Bramlett of Robstown, Mrs. Regenald Ivey of Houston, and Mrs. Truman Doss of Morton.
Services were held at the local Church of Christ by the pastor, Brother Hal, assisted by Brother Travis and Bill Flores.
