Services for Tyson Covington, 19, of Ralls were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2001, at First Baptist Church, Ralls, with the Rev. Randy Bartley officiating and Anthony Sisemore assisting.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

He died Sunday, April 29, 2001.

He was born July 16, 1981, in Lockney. He was a 1999 graduate of Ralls High School, where he was active in 4-H. He was a farmer and had lived in the Ralls area all his life. He attended Ralls First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Scarlet and Joe Mark Cargile of Ralls and Monte and Leslie Covington of Floydada; his grandparents, Alice Parker of Ralls, Jack and Tanya Covington of Floydada, Joe and Milla Raye Cargile of Crosbyton and Royce and Sally Fort of Midland; his great-grandparents, Kitty Beck of Ralls and Lucille Daniel of Floydada; a sister, Karlly of Floydada; and three brothers, Toby Covington of Ralls, Adam Cargile of Plano and Aric Cargile of Canyon.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
