Funeral Held In Ralls For Mrs. Travis Cook

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Olean Cook, 73, of Ralls were held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Ralls First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dale Cain of Lubbock, a former pastor here, officiating.

Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cook died at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Crosbyton hospital.

Mrs. Cook, a native of Williamson County, moved to Crosby County in 1924 from Lampasas. She had married Travis Cook in Lampasas in 1924.

She is survived by her husband of Ralls, three daughters, Mrs. Xenna Watkins of El Paso, Mrs. James Crowley of Ralls and Mrs. Marion Tyer of Fort Worth; a brother Jack Mahanna of Lampasas, a sister Mrs. Don Monk of Dallas, 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
