RALLS — Rosary for Guadalupe Contreras, 72, of Ralls will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Michael´s Catholic Church with the Rev. Leonard Pahamtang officiating.Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the same church with the same officiant.
Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
She died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2002.
She was born Dec. 15, 1929, in Piedras Negras, Mexico, and married Juan V. Contreras in Mexico. He died in 1983. She moved to Ralls in 1968 from Quitaque. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael´s Catholic Church.
Survivors include eight sons, Antonio and Greg, both of Oregon, Marcos of California, Juan Cruz and Jose, both of Ralls, Ray of Lubbock, Rick of McAllen and Javier of Hawaii; four daughters, Maria Emma DeLeon of Ralls, Maria deJesus Ruiz and Rosa Borjon, both of California; and Elvira Thayne of Tucson, Ariz.; three brothers, Jesus, Julio and Pablo Corpus, all of Piedras Negras; a sister, Antonio Corpus of Piedras Negras; 45 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
