American Flag  Graveside services with military honors for Bobby Marlin Conger, 75, of Sweetwater and formerly of Lubbock, will be at 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 12, 2010 at the Ralls Cemetery Chapel, with Rev. Richard White officiating. Burial is under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Bob passed away on Feb. 8, 2010 at his home in Sweetwater. He was born on May 17, 1934, in Blue Ridge, Texas, to the late Elmer and Claudia (McGee) Conger.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and retired from the City of Lubbock Traffic Engineering Department.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Baxter Wayne Conger, in 2005.

Survivors include a son, David Conger of Lubbock; two brothers, Benny Conger and wife Twila of Lubbock and Joe Conger of Sweetwater; two sisters, Johnnie McClure and husband Mitchell and Claudia Marshall; and a sister-in-law, Debbie Conger, all of Lubbock.
