Olivia Collins Funeral Held Here Thursday

Funeral services for Olivia Collins, 91, of Lubbock and formerly of Crosbyton were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, in First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Floyd Haddock, pastor, officiating, and the Rev. James T. Bolding, retired Baptist minister assisting.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

Mrs. Collins died at 7 a.m. Tuesday at University Convalescent Center in Lubbock.

The Navarro County native moved to Ralls in 1925 where she lived until 1950. She moved to Crosbyton in 1950 and to Lubbock in 1972.

Survivors include two sons, Lyndall of Raymondville and Dwain of Clovis, N.M.; four daughters, Mrs. Lela Joe Brown of Corsicana, Mrs. H.A. Cook of Glendale, Ariz., Mrs. L.C. Roye of Alvin and Mrs. Dale Elms of Lubbock; a brother, J.C. DuBose of Lubbock; a sister, Edna Sales of Ralls; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
