U.S.Flag   Services for Virgil Roland Coberly, 66, of Ralls were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 1994, in the Ralls First Baptist Church, with Rev. Jim Morrow, pastor, officiating.

Interment followed in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Mr. Coberly died at 2:20 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 1994, in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital following an illness.

He was born June 6, 1928, in Tarentum, PA, and married Betty Armstrong Oct. 21, 1961, in Smyrna, GA. He was a Baptist. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Palmdale, CA. He was a member of the Scottish Rite and Shrine in Atlanta, GA. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion.

He moved to Ralls in July of 1994 from Los Angeles, CA.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Coberly of Ralls; three sons, Virgil R. Coberly of San Antonio; Robert Coberly of Los Angeles; Richard Coberly of Missouri; three daughters, Cynthia Knight of Grapevine; Katerin Lusk of Fort Worth, and Brenda Nadler of Los Angeles; and nine grandchildren.
