"It is with sorrow that the Banner chronicles the death of Geo. Cline, who resided two miles west of Ralls. Although Mr. Cline was 69 years old, he was in good health, and was able to attend to the duties of his big farm until last Friday, when he was suddenly stricken with appendicitis. Medical aid was summoned, and an operation was advised, but he would not consent, and as the days passed he grew worse, and on Monday the spirit of this worthy man was wafted back to God, who gave it. He is survived by his wife and several children, to whom the Banner, together with all our people, extends sincere sympathy".Source: The Ralls Banner, October, 1919
