Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Chote of Fort Worth, a former Ralls resident, were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Ralls. Burial was in Ralls Cemetery.Mrs. Chote was 79. She died at 9:30 a.m. Monday in a Fort Worth nursing home.
Mrs. Chote and Ollie Lee Chote were married June 20, 1935 in Ralls and were longtime residents of that community. She moved to Fort Worth in 1969, after her husband´s death in 1966.
Survivors include a son, Ollie Chote of Fort Worth; a daughter, Mrs. Laura Smith of Fort Worth; two sisters, Mrs. Earle Jones and Mrs. Cleone Miller, both of Lubbock; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ollie Chote, daughter-in-law of the deceased, is the former Ella Jo Covington of Crosbyton. She is a daughter of Mrs. Sam Covington.
