Rosary for Johnny Cavazos, 62, of Ralls was held at 7:00 PM Sunday, January 1, 2006 in the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Ralls. Mass was celebrated at 2:00 PM Monday, January 2, 2006 at the same church with Rev. Jesse Cruz officiating. Burial followed in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.Mr. Cavazos passed away Saturday, December 31, 2005 in the Crosbyton Hospital. He was born November 8, 1943 in Edna, Texas to the late Crescencio and Marela (Lara) Cavazos. He married Tina Rodriquez June 22, 1964 in Lubbock. He was a farm hand and moved to the Ralls area in 1963 from Edna, Texas. He was a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Cavazos of Ralls, three sons, Johnny Cavazos, Jr. and his wife Mary of Shallowater, Mateo Cavazos and his wife Macy of Ralls and Gabriel Cavazos of Ralls, two daughters, Stephanie Torres and her husband Enrique of San Angelo and Christina Cavazos of Ralls, five Brothers, Tony of Edna, Crescencio, Jr. and Joe of Crane, Pedro of McCamey and Robert of Monahans, two step brothers, Ruben of Odessa and Steve of Grandfalls, two sisters, Carmelita Cavazos of Grapevine and Gloria Rodriquez of Grandfalls and 11 grandchildren.
