Funeral services for Jesse J. Cavazos, 56, of Ralls were held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, 2001, at St. Michael´s Catholic Church in Ralls with the Rev. Leonardo Pahamtang officiating.Rosary was said at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2001, at St. Michael´s Catholic Church.
Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
He died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001, at Methodist Hospital in Houston.
He was born June 13, 1945, in Edna, TX. He married Mary Carrillo on May 29, 1965, in Ralls.
He was a member of St. Michael´s Catholic Church and the Men´s Organization.He was a farmer and had lived in Ralls much of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Cavazos of Ralls; a son, Nicky Cavazos of Ralls; a daughter, Marcella Reyes of Ralls; six brothers, Tony Cavazos of Edna, John Cavazos of Ralls, Crescenio Cavazos Jr. and Joe Cavazos, both of Crane, Pedro Cavazos of McCamey and Robert Cavazos of Monahans; two stepbrothers, Ruben Cavazos of Odessa and Steve Cavazos of Grandfalls; two sisters, Carmalita Gonzales of Grapevine and Gloria Rodriguez of Grandfalls; and seven grandchildren.
