Inocente “Poncho” C. Castro, 80, of Ralls went to be with his Lord. He was born on December 28, 1933 in CD Acuna Coahuila to Ladislado and Angelita Compos Castro.
Inocente married the love of his life Margarita Huerta on March 8, 1958 in Ralls. He worked as a farmer since 1957, and loved John Deer Tractors. Inocente was a hard worker and taught his kids how to work. He was a dedicated dad and grandfather, his grandkids loved to go to farm and ride tractors. Inocente was never in a hurry to go anywhere.
He is preceded in death by one daughter; Guadalupe Castro, one son; Arturo Castro, three grandchildren; Joe Eric Gutierrez, Devon Garcia, Eric Escobar, two great-grandchildren; Anthony Moreno, Abigail Sanchez, one brother; Francisco Castro, two sisters; Emeteria Castro, Juanita Rangel, and one daughter-in-law; Janie Aguilar.
Inocente is survived by his wife; Margarita Castro of Ralls, four sons; Angel Castro, Tony Castro and wife Janie, Inocente Castro Jr. and wife Christy, Joe Castro and wife Carla all of Ralls, five daughters; Margaret Sanchez and husband Johnny of Vernon, Maria Barron of Midland, Juanita Morales and husband Ricky of Ralls, Angie Rogers of Ralls, Irene Gutierrez and husband Joe of Lubbock, thirty-eight grandchildren, fifty-eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Ralls. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home. A rosary will be held Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the same church.
