Services for Jose Angel Casarez Sr., 65, of Ralls will be Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 10:00AM at St. Michael's Catholic Church of Ralls with Father Ernesto Lopez officiating. Burial will follow in the Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls. Rosary will be at 7 PM Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in same church. He passed away on Monday, November 22, 2010 at his residence. Jose was born November 1, 1945 in Laredo to Natividad and Lucia (Martinez) Casarez. He married Beatrice Pina on April 15, 1967 in Laredo, and moved to the Ralls area in 1968.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Casarez of Ralls, three daughters, Viviana and Lucio Zermeno of Ralls, Liliana and John Landin of Lorenzo, Lisa Balderas of Dallas, one son and his wife, Jose Angel Jr. and Zoila Casarez of Ralls, five brothers, Asencion, Juan, Roberto, Manuel, and Jose Casarez, all of Hereford, six sisters, Jacoba Trevino of Cactus, Tx., Jesusa Santoya, Olga Rubio, Alma Castillo all of Laredo, Evangelina Lopez of Chicago, and Petra Rodriguez of New Braunsfel, and16 grandchildren.
Casket bearers will be Adrian Zermeno, Lucio Zermeno, Miguel Angel Casarez, Jose Angel Casarez, Jr., Zachary John Landin, John Anthony Landin.
