
Rosary for Celestino "Lester" Carrillo, Sr., 73, of Ralls was celebrated at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, 1990, in St. Michael´s Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Parampil, pastor, officiating.
Mass was celebrated at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, 1990, in St. Michael´s Catholic Church with the same officiant.
Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
He died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 1990, in his home after a lengthy illness. Carrillo was born April 6, 1916, in San Marcos and moved to Ralls in 1950. He married Mary Torres on June 3, 1943, in San Marcos. He was a farmer and a member of St. Michael´s Catholic Church and the Men´s Society.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jose of Round Rock, Eme of Houston and Lester, Jr., of Lorenzo; six daughters, Carmen Carrillo of Idalou, Mary Cavazos and Elizabeth Jasso, both of Ralls, Delia Constancio of Anchorage, AK, Alice Soliz of Lubbock and Ofelia Quiroz of Fort Worth; a brother, Ramon of Abilene; three sisters, Paula Tenequerque of Bakersfield, CA, Maria Sanchez of San Antonio, and Lupe Vary of Houston; 28 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services for Mary Torres Carrillo, 69, of Ralls were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 1991, at St. Michael´s Catholic Church with the Rev. Tom Parampil, pastor, officiating.
The Rev. James O´Conner, pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Lubbock, assisted, and burial in Ralls Cemetery was directed by Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carrillo died at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, 1991, in Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was a native of San Marcos, the daughter of Mike and Maria Torres, Sr., and married Lester Carrillo Sr. on June 3, 1943, in San Marcos. The couple moved to Ralls in 1950 from San Marcos. Her husband died Jan. 13, 1990.
She worked as a nurse´s aide and was a member of St. Michael´s Catholic Church and the Ladies Society at the church.
Survivors include three sons, Jose of Round Rock, Eme of Houston and Lester Jr. of Lorenzo; six daughters, Carmen Carrillo of Idalou, Mary Cavazos and Elizabeth Jasso, both of Ralls, Delia Constancio of San Antonio, Alice Soliz of Lubbock and Ofelia Quiroz of Fort Worth; four brothers, Jesse Torres of Plainview, Jose Torres of Lubbock, Tony Torres of Dimmitt and Mike Torres of Ralls; two sisters, Lupe Graham of Ralls and Virginia Villanueva of Lubbock; 28 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
