Services for Alejandra DeLeon Cantu, 81, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Thomas Diebel officiating. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at Agape Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Agape Funeral Chapel of Lubbock. Mrs. Cantu died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2004. She was born Feb. 12, 1923 in Sommerville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ascencion Cantu Sr.
Survivors include a sister, Nicolas Merodado of Ralls; four sons, Ascencion Cantu Jr. of Georgetown, Jose Marie, and Paul and Johnny Cantu of Lubbock; three daughters, Christina Casias of Lubbock, Seferina Cook of Amarillo and Socorro Hinojosa of Anton; and a grandson, who she raised, Lupe DeLeon; 27 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at 6308 29th Street.
