Services for Delton Caddell, 72, of the Caprock community were held Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2003, at Ralls First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Morrow officiating and the Rev. Randy Bartley assisting.
Burial was in the Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
He died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003, at Lubbock´s Covenant Medical Center.
He was born April 19, 1930, in the Caprock community. He married Wanda Ruth Woodard on May 11, 1946, in Idalou. He was a member of Ralls First Baptist Church. He lived in the Caprock community all his life and worked as a farmer, rancher and a ginner.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Jay Crump, May 16, 1988.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Caddell of Ralls; a son, James Caddell and his wife, Tretha, of Ralls; two daughters, Barbara Adams and her husband, Kenny, of Ralls and Brenda Crump and her husband, Don, of Ralls; two sisters, Lenora Caddell of Ralls and Norene Woodard, of Ralls; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
