Services for Patricia Ann Gonzales Byrd, 46, of Lorenzo were at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 12, 2005 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Lorenzo with the Rev. Charles Hankson officiating. Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.She passed away March 8, 2005 at her home in Lorenzo. She was born September 3, 1958 in Lorenzo to John and Dorothy (Bolden) Gonzales. She married Kenneth Byrd in Lubbock. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Lorenzo and graduated from Lorenzo High School in 1978. Patricia had lived in Lorenzo most of her life. Survivors include; a son; Lawrence Shelton Gonzales of Lawton, OK, two daughters; Nedra Ann Gonzales of Lubbock and Brandy Gonzales of Lorenzo, her parents; John and Dorothy Gonzales of Lorenzo, six brothers; Joe Gonzales of Lubbock, Jerry Gonzales of Idalou, John Wayne, Danny, Charles and Manuel Gonzales all of Lorenzo, three sisters; Stella and Carla Gonzales both of Lorenzo and Mae Gonzales Clay of Amarillo, two grandchildren; Ambrosia Gonzales of Lubbock, and Vantese Gonzales of Abilene.
Pallbearers were Mike Gonzales, John Wayne Gonzales, Jerry Gonzales, Charles Gonzales, Manuel Gonzales and Joe Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers will be; Lawrence Gonzales, John Edward Gonzales, Gus Miller, Sidney Gant, Roy Harper and Edward Jones.
