John Broyles Funeral Held Here Saturday

Services for John Wesley Broyles, 63, of Ralls who died Thursday in Texas City were held at 4:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church here. The Rev. Floyd Haddock, pastor, officiated.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery directed by Carter Funeral Home.

Broyles was a former resident of Ralls and a retired farmer.

He is survived by four sons, Jim, Everet and Thomas of Texas City and Charles of Gainesville; five daughters, Mrs. Nettie Cope of Yuma, Ariz., Mrs. Louis Payne of Ralls, Mrs. Hazel Forsyth of Lovington, Mrs. Mary Frazier of Elkhart, Kan., and Mrs. Sue Moreland of Fullerton, Calif.; one brother Freddie of Springfield, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Meddie Sloan of Gainesville and Mrs. Elsie Harland of Thousand Oaks, Calif. and 26 grandchildren.
