Martha Jane Brown Rites Here Thursday
Funeral services for Martha Jane Brown 82, of Houston were at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church here with the Rev. Lee Fuller, pastor, officiating.Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home here.
Mrs. Brown died at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Eastway General Hospital in Houston after a lengthy illness.
The Dresdon native married Troy D. Brown in Ralls Dec. 8, 1918. He died Dec. 29, 1972. She moved to Houston from Ralls about six years ago. She was a member of Farrington Baptist Church.
Survivors include two son, Raymond of Houston and J.W. of Idalou; a daughter, Oma Ruth Stewart of Houston; a brother, Robert Campbell of Houston; nine grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
