LAKE BROWNWOOD (Special) - Graveside services for Alton Doyle Brown, 80, will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Bartley officiating.

Burial will be under direction of Heartland Funeral Home in Early.

He died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1999, at his daughter´s home near Temple.

He was born Aug. 30, 1919, in Emma. He was in the U.S. Air Force for 12 years, serving in World War II.

He retired from a telephone company and was a construction worker.

He had been a resident of Lake Brownwood since 1990. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Hetzel of Temple; a son, Clifford Brown of Troy; a sister, Jewell Benton of Lubbock; a brother, Clifford L. Brown of Lubbock; a half-sister; and two grandchildren.
