U.S.Flag Services for James W. Brandon, 78, of Ralls were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, November 7, 1986, in Emma Church of Christ with Roy Shave, a Church of Christ minister from Dallas, officiating.

Burial was in Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.

He died at 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 1986 in Lubbock´s South Park Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Quanah and had lived in Ralls since 1944. He married Gladys Sessom on December 23, 1933, in Crosbyton. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. He was a wholesaler for Magnolia Oil Company. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; and a sister, Mrs. Troy Morrow of Riverside, California.
