Marwin Brakebill
RALLS (Special) - Services for Marwin Benjamin Brakebill, 64, of Lubbock will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Ralls First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Ron Colwell, pastor, and Davis B. Price, pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Lubbock, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

Brakebill died Friday, Nov. 10, 1994, in Lubbock´s Methodist Hospital.

He was born June 7, 1930, in Owens. He graduated from Ralls High School and Texas Tech University and the Texas Tech School of Law. He married Marilyn Joy Summerford on Sept. 7, 1949. She died Dec. 19, 1978. He married Barbara Joy Barrett on Oct. 31, 1982, in Ruidoso, NM. He was past president of the Ralls Rotary Club, and he was a member of the American Bar, Texas State Bar, Lubbock County Bar Association and Ralls First United Methodist Church, where he taught Adult Sunday School class.

He practiced law in Ralls, and he worked for Lubbock Abstract and Title Co.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Becky Wauer of Lubbock and Cozette McGaugh of Brenham; two stepsons, Jason Moore and Justin Moore, both of Lubbock; two half brothers, Harold Moore and Warren Moore, both of Ralls; and three grandchildren.
