Flora Bradberry

Funeral services for Flora R. Bradberry, 69 year old Lubbock resident, were at 10 a.m. Monday in the Northside Church of Christ in Lubbock. Ralph Beistle, minister, officiated and was assisted by Harvey Pruitt of Lubbock Christian College.

Interment was made in Ralls Cemetery.

Mrs. Bradberry was claimed by death at 5:10 p.m. Friday in Methodist Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was the sister of Werdna Rowse, who with her husband owns Quality Printers here.

The former Flora Phillips was born in Shelby County and was married to Timothy Bradberry on Oct. 30, 1938, in Ralls. The couple moved to Lubbock in 1963.

Mr. Bradberry preceded his wife in death in 1971.

Mrs. Bradberry was a retired sales clerk.

She is survived by two sons, Timothy Bradberry of Boyd and Wallace Bradberry of Millings, Mont.; two daughters, Eva Letha Thompson of Grand Junction and Wanda Ruth Bradberry of Southlake; three brothers, Hubert Phillips of Ralls, James Phillips of Seminole, and Arlis Phillips of Denton; a sister, Werdna Rowse of Lubbock; and eight grandchildren.
