Ruby Mae Adams, daughter of Grace Smyer and Butler Adams, was born September 28, 1913, in Old Emma, Crosby County, TX; and died January 25, 1975 in California. She married Lloyd Wagner Bowers on December 18, in Clovis, Curry County, New Mexico. Lloyd Wagner Bowers was born March 09, 1914 in Idalou, Lubbock County, TX.

Ruby Bowers

RALLS (Special) - Services for Mrs. Ruby Mae Bowers, 61, of San Carlos, Calif., will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Emma Church of Christ with Travis Boyd, an east Texas Church of Christ, minister, officiating.

Burial will be in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bowers was found dead at her residence early Saturday after she suffered an apparent heart attack.

A native of Emma, Mrs. Bowers was married to Loyd Wagner Bowers Dec. 18, 1944, in Clovis, NM.

She moved to San Carlos about eight years ago from Ralls.

Survivors include her husband; two adopted sons, Jeffery Bowers and Jody Jay, both of the home; her mother, Mrs. Butler Adams of 3211 44th St., in Lubbock; three brothers, Alvie, Billy and Jimmy, all of Ralls; three sisters, Mrs. Annie Phipps of Amarillo, Mrs. Bonnie Howard of San Antonio and Mrs. Connie Griffith of 3311 44th St. in Lubbock.
