Julius Blair Services for Julius Blair, 82, of Ralls, were held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2000, at Ralls First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dennis Williams, pastor of Lorenzo First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial was at Ralls Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

He died Tuesday, June 27, at Highland Hospital in Lubbock.

He was born December 21, 1917, in Watson, OK.

He married Rebecca Mae Cowan on August 18, 1942, in Clovis, NM.

He was a Baptist and a member of the Cone Baptist church until it disbanded. He was a Veteran of WWII serving in the Army Infantry and Cavalry. He moved to the Cone area in 1969 from Ropesville.

He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Blair on July 20, 1983.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca of Ralls; four sons, Larry Blair of Cone, Thomas Blair of Ralls, Harold Blair of Crosbyton, and Mark Blair of Dublin; three daughters, Geraldine LaBombard and Linda Blair, both of Lubbock and Becky Jones of Crosbyton; one brother, Willy Blair of Meadow; two sisters, Esther Littrell of Midland and Betty Hansard of Brownfield; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
