Graveside services for James "Jim" Benton, 54, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. today in Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. J.D. Helms of the Jehovah"s Witnesses officiating.

Arrangements are under direction of Restlawn Wilson´s Funeral Directors of Wolfforth.

He died Saturday, May 11, 1996, at his home.

He was born July 28, 1941, in Lubbock, and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his mother, Mavis Benton of Lubbock; three brothers, Russell Edwin of Meadow, Walter Berl of Bakersfield, Calif., and John Weldon of Santa Fe, NM; and one sister, Norma Ann Baze of Franklin, Tenn.
