PLAINS (Special) — Services for B.F. Bartlett, 89, of Plains will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Harlin, pastor of Northside Baptist Church in Odessa, officiating.

Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. in Ralls Cemetery under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.

Bartlett died at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Brownfield Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Lynn County and moved to Plains in 1918. He married Bernice Belle Kerlin on Aug. 24, 1930, in Farmer Community. She died on April 5, 1984. He managed the abstract office in Plains until his retirement. He was a Mason and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

He is survived by a daughter, Wanda B. Keiffer of Seven Lakes, NC; two sisters, Georgia Madson of Phoenix and Willie Mangum of Las Vegas, Nev; two grandchildren; and a great grandchild.
