RALLS (Special) - Graveside services for Ethel Ashton, 80, of Ralls will be at 2 p.m. today at Ralls Cemetery with the Rev. Lee Fuller, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.Burial will be under direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ashton died at 12:55 p.m. Sunday in Crosbyton Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Red River County and had lived most of her life in Ralls. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, A.L. "Shorty" Ashton; and a brother, Claude Thompson of Granbury.

He died Wednesday in Crosbyton Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Henderson County. He was a farmer. He married Ethel Thompson in 1946 in Ralls. She died in 1984. He lived in Ralls since 1940.
Survivors include a brother, Ben of Farwell; and two sisters, Vera Lou Ashton of Abilene and Ruthie Rogers of Chula Vista, Calif.
