Zane Macy Smith, 40, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016 in Schuyler, Nebraska. Zane was born September 22, 1975 in Lubbock County, Texas to Lannie and Janice (McDonald) Smith. Zane was the owner and operater of his own glass company, KR Chipmaster in McAllen, Texas. He walked closely with the Lord. He greatly enjoyed fishing and loved to laugh. Zane had a great head on his shoulders and a wonderful spirit and was an inspiration to all of those that he loved dearly.
He is survived by his daughter, Berkley Smith of Greenville, TX; his four sons; Mason and Gavin Smith both of Greenville, TX; Kale and Christian Smith of Pharr, TX; his parents; Lannie and Janice Smith of Lorenzo, TX; his twin brother; Dane Smith of Lorenzo TX; and two sisters; Shea Hughes of Midlothian, TX; and Leslie Munoz of Ft. Worth, TX.
Visitation will be held 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, February 25 at Adams Funeral Home in Lorenzo. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, February 26 at Lorenzo Cemetery, with the Rev. Ronnie Ledbetter officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
