LORENZO (Special) - Services for William H. Scarbrough, 80, of Lorenzo will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Lorenzo First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Williams, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
Scarbrough died Thursday, July 31, 1997, at his home.
He was born Oct. 13, 1916, in Houston County. He married Jimmie Dee Smyer on Aug. 19, 1939, in Lovington, N.M. They moved to Lorenzo from Levelland in 1955.
He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Bill of Santa Rosa, Calif.; two daughters, Sandra Powers of Hot Springs Village, Ark., and Paula Matthews of Richardson; two brothers, E.G. of Odessa and J.R. of Abilene; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Jimmie D. Scarbrough, 81, of Hot Springs Village, AR, were held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Lorenzo Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Caruth Village Funeral Home of Hot Springs, Ark.
She died Friday, March 7, 2003.
She was born July 10, 1921, in Lorenzo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Scarbrough.
Survivors include a son, Bill of California; two daughters, Sandra Powers of Hot Springs Village and Paula Mathews of Texas; a sister, Katherine Wood of Maryland; a brother, Kelsey Smyer; and four grandchildren.
