A 41 year old Lorenzo man, Harold Wayne Pierot, was claimed by death in Clovis, NM, of an apparent heart attack.
Memorial services were conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday in Lorenzo First Baptist Church by the Rev. John Jenkins, pastor of First Baptist Church in Lockney and the Rev. Gerald Mounce, pastor.
Pierot was a Lorenzo native and graduated from high school there in 1954. He and the former Yvonne Hosch were married June 12, 1955, at Lorenzo. The deceased was a member of the First Baptist Church at Lorenzo and was a former director of the church choir.
An electronics salesman, Pierot was a 32nd degree Mason, a past worshipful master of Lorenzo Masonic Lodge and a member of the Scottish Rite. He also was a member of the Lorenzo Volunteer Ambulance Service.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Roy Wayne Pierot of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Renee Pendergraft of Ralls and Sherry Pierot of the home; his mother, Mrs. Everett Rabun of Lubbock; and a step-sister, Mrs. Betty Fletcher of Goodland, Kansas.

Yvonne Pierot of Lubbock departed this life May 02, 2011 at the age of 74. She was born March 27, 1937 in Alabama to the late Burkett C. and Debbie (Bailey) Hosch. She attended Lorenzo High School. Yvonne married Harold Wayne Pierot June 12, 1955. He preceded her in death September 15, 1977. She was a church secretary, and a member of Redbud Baptist Church.
Her memory will be cherished by two daughters, Renee Pendergraft (Dennis) of Abernathy and Sherry Coomer (Mike) of Lubbock; one son, Roy Wayne Pierot of Lubbock; two brothers, B. C. Hosch of Forth Worth and Jerry Hosch of Lubbock; one sister, Joquetta Kizer of Santa Maria, CA; three grandchildren, Denise Goodman of Abernathy and Taylor & Samantha Coomer both of Lubbock; three great grandchildren; Brittany, Natalie, and Sidalee Goodman, all of Abernathy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Roxanne, granddaughter, Tiffany Pendergraft, parents, and one sister, Louise Ballinger.
Visitation will be from 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 04, 2011, at Combest Family Funeral Homes in Lubbock.
