Walter Robert was born on September 25, 1936 to Robert and Margie Armstrong Marlar in Lorenzo, Texas. Bobby graduated from Lorenzo High School. On November 28, 1959, he married the love of his life, Beth A. Norman in Las Vegas, NV. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Lorenzo and community supporter.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Beth A. Marlar; daughters, Toni Marlar Robertson, Pamela Ricketts and husband, Tony, and Robbie Pond; grandchildren, Jeremy Robertson, Nathan Robertson and husband, Cecilia, and Kaleb Robertson and wife, Courtney, Brayden Pond, Remington and Kylie Ricketts; great-grandchildren, Colton and Weston Robertson, and Avery George; sisters, Peggy Alred and Patsy McMillan and husband Hershel.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jimmy Marlar.
