Services for Jim Williams of Lorenzo were at 3:30 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Lorenzo with the pastor, the Rev. James Holman, officiating, assisted by the Rev. P.D. Fullingim of Lubbock.

Burial, under direction of Carter Funeral Home of Ralls was held in Lorenzo Cemetery.

Williams, 63, died at his home in Lorenzo Thursday afternoon.

A farmer and native of Sunflower, Miss., Williams had been a resident of this area since 1921, moving to Lorenzo from Oklahoma.

He is survived by his wife; two step-daughters, Mrs. Patsy St. Clair of Crosbyton and Mrs. Beth Cort of Norwalk, Calif.; a brother, Rex of Muleshoe; two sisters, Mrs. E.W. Gray of Muleshoe and Mrs. James Pearson of Port Isabel; and eight grandchildren.
