LORENZO (Special) - Services for Monroe Watson, 65, of Lorenzo were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 1997, in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with the Revs. C. Hankson and Bobby Lawson officiating.Burial was in the Lorenzo Cemetery under direction of Ossie Curry Funeral Home of Lubbock.
Watson died Sunday, Jan. 5, 1997, in Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.
He was born Dec. 6, 1931, in Coffman.
Survivors include two brothers, Robert E. Watson of Corpus Christi and Charlie Baker Jr. of Arlington; and two sisters, Rosie Wall of Lorenzo and Anna Baker of Lubbock.
