U.S.Flag Graveside services for Donald Wayne Walker, 52, of Crosbyton were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 1988, in the Lorenzo Cemetery with Travis Boyd, minister of the Lorenzo Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial was under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.

Mr. Walker died at 11:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 24, 1988, in Lubbock's Colonial Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.

He was born Nov. 9, 1936 in Lorenzo and married Wanda Gay Mooneyham in Ft. Worth. He was a plumber and a member of the Church of Christ. He attended Lorenzo Schools and Texas Tech. He served in the U.S. Navy. He moved to Ft. Worth in 1983 from Ralls and moved back to Crosbyton Nov. 23, 1988.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Walker of Crosbyton; mother, Pearl Walker of Ralls; three sons, Jerry and Terry Walker of Fort Worth and Donnie Walker of Victoria; three step-sons, Dale Howard and David Howard of Crosbyton and Tommy Howard of Abilene; two daughters, Pattie Ott of Victoria and Susan Kay Walker of Fairbanks, Alaska; two brothers, Jimmie Walker of Lorenzo and William "Bill" Walker of Baird, TX; ten grandchildren.
